The Simpsons has been one of the greatest cartoons I have ever seen and by that matter I will ever see. I've seen I think every episode and I always get a laugh out of the new ones and some of the old ones.
I remember watching The SImpsons everyday after school as a kid. It was around 5 o' clock that I would flip the channel to Fox and catch a full hour of The Simpsons. I would spend that hour with family, friends, uncles, cousins, and really anyone else who would grab a seat and try to to keep their sides from splitting. It was more of a bonding experience than anything.
I still have a bunch of the DVDs but more importantly the memories that came with watching the show. As a kid, I really was blessed. I had great parents, family, and surroundings that encouraged me to work hard and make a difference in the lives of others. I never really had a game system (unless you count my first Gameboy in 6th grade) and I was always a more interested in books and education than MySpace and Grand Theft Auto. I'm gracious of my up coming and have grown to accept that these things are what make me, me.
Sincerely, Hector Guzman
