The Gossebumps is a series of books written by R.L. Stine. R.L. Stine has written hundreds of books in this series and continue to motivate kids at a young age to pick up his 110-120 horror book and start reading. The books aren't really scary but are great for kids who enjoy reading quick dialogue with turns every now and again.
Mine is bigger. I have way more books than those you see in the picture above. When I was a kid I had a bed with little cabinets where the head board should have been. In those cabinets I kept most of the books I could fit in there by J.K. Rowling (author of Harry Potter), R.L. Stine (author of Goosebumps) and several other books I came by during my younger years.
I remember keeping a list of all the Goosebumps books I had read that summer or year and how happy I was to see the list continue to grow. Out of the 62 original books that came out, I think I read a good 33. I was so proud of myself that day I finish a whole book in one day (of course you have to take into consideration I was only 9 years old). Reading in general has given me many fond memories and is really the reason I think and act the way I do. It molded my mind!
