My New Years Resolution

Official Start Time: 4:15 p.m.
Date: 1/2/09
Official End Time: 5:30 p.m.

The new year is upon us and this year I want to get new year started on the right foot. This year I want things to be different. I want things to be better. And this year I want it to be the year that sets the foundation for years to come.

How will I make these things possible???
  • This year I promise to be progressive and honest with my work.

  • This year I promise to do something great and wonderful! I only have 9 months left ^_^

  • And this year I promise to be a better person to my fellow man . . .
I'll accomplish my first goal by studying more, reading more, and really focus on the things I should be caring about in my life. I always feel like there is never enough time to do what needs to be done and when one finally does grasp the ability to work hard and make our dreams a reality we find ourselves meeting the end of the line. That's something I want to change either in the course of this year or the time I have left on this Earth.

I'll accomplish my second goal in the 9 months I have left to accomplish it. I started this experiment on a mission to make a difference and accomplish something that was great and wonderful. I still have plenty of time and I even have a couple of ideas on what I can do to make that difference. All I really need is to see my ideas through and hope that my fortune only continues to match my work ethic.

I'll accomplish my third goal by trying to be a better person each and everyday. By accomplishing this goal I want to make a new name for myself. I want people to know me for my kind, human person that I try to be. Someone whose dynamic and really a role model for his fellow man. I will one day reach this level like so many before me have at one point in their lives.

Accomplishing these goals isn't really something I can just place a check next to on a piece paper I found on my desk. Accomplishing these goals really means adapting new habits that will hopefully promise me a better tomorrow. Some problems I fear have no solutions and it is all a matter of understanding what you're capable of and how hard you're willing to work.

Sincerely, Hector Guzman
