The Blog-a-day Challenge

So after a unsettling thought with Alex and unable to fix his mom's computer, his mom decided to take us home. On the way home, I was relatively quiet as Alex's mom cracked jokes and asked us what colleges we were planning to apply to. The question for some reason sparked disapproval as when I said I was thinking about going to Tufts Jay and Alex got really pissed off .

On our way to Tufts in November, I remember Steve had said he could imagine me going there and after taking the tour, I could see myself going there. I liked the majors, I liked the asian community and courses, and it was a respectable school. Jay for some reason couldn't see those factors and thought I would be going to the worst school known to man if I applied, claiming it wasn't even worth comparing to his schools.

Well after absorbing Jay's comments seeing as Alex had nothing better to say, I did some research and compiled a list of schools in:

Ivy League

• University of Pennsylvania
• Yale University

Mini Ivy

• Amherst College
• Colby College
• Connecticut College
• Hamilton College
• Middlebury College
• Swarthmore College
• Trinity College
• Tufts University
• Wesleyan University
• Williams College

Mysteriously Georgetown and UConn were no where to be found. I find it very weird that the schools Jay thought were too good for Tufts were no where to be found amongst le crem de la crem. Where I go to school is my choice. I'm the last person to make fun of another man based on the school he went to but if where gonna throughout ranks and legacy, know that my schools are way better than yours.
