For the longest time, badminton has been a big part in my life. I first started playing when I was elementary school. My sister played it in school and bought a set for us to have at home. We would play for hours and it was great. I remember how great it felt seeing it fly up in the air and then seeing it being flung back at you. The hours we spent playing badminton is probably why the game is so special to me. It resembles a unifying force between people that would otherwise not come in contact in such a way.
In the future, I hope to keep badminton and make it a major part in the life of my kids. Badminton was probably the only sport I actually played and probably the only sport me and my brother could play well. In the future, I'd like to have a badminton court in my yard to remember the good old days and the memories my kids will create through badminton.
